It is a dark, atmospheric Young Adult horror novel often described as Heathers meets Midsummer. The book explores the deep bond between twins and the lengths one will go to for closure. It uses the cottage core aesthetic (flowers, honey, summer sun) to mask something deeply grotesque and unsettling.
