PEGGY POST is an American author and consultant on etiquette. She is Emily Post's great-granddaughter-in-law and is a director and spokesperson for The Emily Post Institute. She has authored or co-authored more than a dozen etiquette books, including various editions of "Emily Post's Etiquette." She also wrote columns for Good Housekeeping and The New York Times. Before her career in etiquette, she was an international flight attendant and a seventh-grade English and history teacher, and she also had a 30-year career in management, consulting, and sales in the business world.
